Michael Scheuermann is a professionally qualified stone carver and sculptor who also has a BA and MA in Fine Art.  He undertakes corporate, commercial and private commissions, works in educational settings and offers consultancy services.

He has been working with stone for over 20 years and has worked on commissions across the world as well as in the UK. From his studio in Birmingham he works with all kinds of stone, on all scales; producing bespoke lettering, architectural features and sculptural objects to commission. He is able to undertake restoration and repair work and teaches stone-carving and sculptural techniques within educational settings and privately. He often works with others in participatory settings, in particular developing child-led educational projects.
