Founded by Nick Godfrey in 2006, Central Scanning provide a variety of 3D Scanning and related services for reverse engineering, 3D Printing and Inspection. Nick and his team of highly experienced Application Engineers provide unique scanning and 3D Printing services using a range of Artec 3D and Zeiss (formally known as Steinbichler) scanners and Stratasys printers.

Their scanners work from line of sight and can scan objects of almost any scale, from teeth to buildings, in a range of detail up to a resolution of 16 microns. All their scanners are mobile meaning they can scan onsite, where you are, or at their workshop in Bromsgrove.

They are able to 3D print in a variety of materials up to a maximum size of 16 x 16 x 14 inches and have a vapour finishing station which smooths surfaces of printed objects in preparation for finishing. They also have laser etching and engraving facilities and work with mints around the world to produce coin dies.

They work with a range of clients from different industries including automotive and aerospace and have also worked with designers, artists and animators including Yamination studios in Digbeth.
